RAYNHAM — Chief Bryan LaCivita is pleased to announce that the Raynham Fire Department is currently accepting application resumes for a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic position.
The Raynham Fire Department is hiring one full-time position with a start date to be determined. A starting firefighter’s salary as a paramedic is $67,182.06, plus additional pay incentives. The position will be contingent upon meeting all qualifications and requirements below:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
- Must be a nonsmoker and not use tobacco products
- Certified Massachusetts Paramedic*
- Massachusetts or Pro Board Firefighter I & II certification (preferred)
Post-Hiring Requirements:
- Pass a medical physical examination
- Pass Physical Ability Test
- Background Investigation
- Graduate Massachusetts Fire Academy Recruit Training
- Certified Paramedic within fourteen (14) months of appointment
- Residency within 15 miles of the Town of Raynham
- Failure to complete these requirements will result in termination.
